How to choose a new password when you have forgotten the old one.
Step 1
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and choose Send Reset Link. The page confirms that a link is on its way if the address has an account. The email comes from Kreamatic: check spam if it does not show up within a minute. The email is written in the language saved on your account, or in the language you use on the page if the address has no account.
Step 2
Open the link in the email. It works for 60 minutes and only once. Enter New password and Confirm password. The password needs at least 8 characters, with an upper and a lower case letter (A-Z, a-z), a number and a special character such as ! ? @ #. Letters like æ, ø and å and spaces do not count as special characters. Choose Set new password. You are sent to sign-in, and sign in as usual.
Result
The password is changed, and you can sign in.
If something goes wrong
- The link is expired or not valid. Choose Request a new link, and use the newest email.
- The passwords do not match, or the password does not meet the requirements. The message under the field says what is needed. Correct it and try again; the link still works.
- If you use Google or a passkey, you do not need a password.
- Why does the email say it is always sent? It concerns your account, so it arrives whatever you switched off under Notifications, and it has no unsubscribe link.
