How to sign in with a password, Google, Apple or a passkey.
Before you start
- You have an account and have confirmed the email. See Create an account and choose an account type.
Step 1
Open Sign In. The page has four ways in: passkey at the top, Google, Apple, and email with password. If you have no account, choose Create account.
Step 2
Enter Email Address and Password, and choose Sign In. With Show password you can check what you typed. If you forgot the password, choose Forgot password?: see Reset your password.
Step 3
Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. If the browser blocks the popup, the page tries a redirect instead, or you allow popups for the page and try again. If it says sign-in failed, try again.
Step 4
If you have added a passkey, choose Sign in with Passkey and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or the device PIN. If the device or browser does not support passkeys, use a password, Google or Apple. You can add and remove passkeys in the settings.
Step 5
Some sensitive choices, such as downloading your data or deleting the account, require you to confirm your identity again. The dialog offers the way you signed in: password, Google, Apple or passkey. If you signed in with Apple, you confirm with Apple the same way as at sign-in.
Result
You are signed in and arrive at the dashboard, or back at the page you came from. If you have not chosen an account type yet, you land on the choice right after signing in, and then straight back where you were going. The app is in the language saved on your account, so a new phone or computer opens in the language you chose on another device. An account that has none yet keeps the language you have now and saves it. You change it under User Preferences in the account settings, or with the language switch in the top bar.
Kreamatic's own platform company and its system user run the platform behind the scenes. They never appear among customers: you do not see them in company or colleague lists, they are not counted or billed, and no customer email is sent to them.
If something goes wrong
- Wrong email address or password. Check both and try again, or reset the password.
- Your email is not verified. Open the confirmation link, or see Confirm your email.
- You were signed out. On the web the session ends after two hours without use, and a new sign-in in another browser signs out the earlier one. The app keeps you signed in, and you can be signed in on several phones and tablets at once. If you changed your password or chose Sign out on every device, every device is signed out. Sign in again.
- Sign-in is not working right now. The problem is on our side. The message means the server answered with an error, not that anything is wrong with your account or password. Try again in a little while. If an error ID is shown under the message, quote it when you contact us. The Clear & Start Fresh button is not shown here, because it does not help when the problem is on our side.
- The passkey does not work. The message says whether the prompt was closed, the browser did not allow the passkey, it was not recognised, or the problem is on our side. Sign in with your password, Google or Apple in the meantime.
- Sign-in did not finish. Choose Clear & Start Fresh: it removes the stuck attempt and takes you back to sign-in. The button only appears when it helps.
- No contact with the server. Check your internet connection and try again.
